Artisans craft this tea scoop using Laiwu tin sculpture — a traditional Chinese metalworking craft that dates back to 1676. During the Qianlong era, the craft became a tribute to the imperial court. In 2008, Laiwu tin sculpture joined the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of China.
